Description
New addition to the Legion line of cigars the second house blend for The Cigar Buddha. This is a cigar named after one of the greatest Roman Gladiators to fight in the Flavian Amphitheater (Colosseum). As Gladiators were not heroes they were War Prisoners and Criminals and were put in the Colosseum to fight to the death. Although Titus had a law for the fights to allow the Gladiators concede without dying and that was to fight without a shield until 1 finger was raised. Both Priscus and Verus fought and raised their thumbs at the same time to signify they both concede and this battle is forever enshrined in a poem by Roman poet Marcus Valerius Martialis as Martial.
